Someone from the Sea of Sorrows community asked if we wouldn’t mind posting some information about their community’s charity event. It sounds neat and it’s for a great cause! Hello Gamers,

What is St Jude Play Live? This is a charity event, where gamers help raise funds to help fight childhood cancer and other deadly diseases. Gamers grab their keyboards, controllers, stream on Twitch TV, and play live, while encouraging friends, family, and other gamers to join them in this fight for the children. The Sea of Sorrows Community is dedicated to four 24 hour live stream to help fight childhood cancer. Come join our team, run with us in events (PvE and WvW), and watch our live stream from our team page http://playlive.stjude.org/SoSGW2.

We will be giving away some great prizes to our followers throughout each 24 hour stream. For those able or willing to give a little to St. Jude, we will be entering you in the drawing for a chance to win a Legendary Weapon. Our goal is to raise $1337.00 between June 27th through August 8th, 2015.

Prizes will be given every 2 hours during all of our live streams, for a chance to win, make a donation to St Jude (please make sure your GW2 IGN is used for the display name for your donation, this is the only way we can ensure your entry is added and prize is awarded correctly). We will be doing a live raffles on our twitch channel- twitch tag SoSGW2, all gamers that have made a donation to St. Jude will be entered for a chance to win a Legendary Weapon. Please see the chart below on the donation amount required and how many entries your donation entitles you to for the Legendary drawing.
